THANK YOU

Rockhampton KPC Sub-Committee Members

On behalf of ASSIUC Inc., we are truly grateful for the success of the 2025 Kanaka Proud Cup. It was a tremendous effort, and we are still riding the high of seeing players, families, and supporters from Mackay and Rocky enjoy the experience so much. Congratulations to Rocky on their clean sweep, and to all teams for proudly representing their bloodlines and culture with excellence both on and off the field.

ASSIUC Inc. sincerely appreciates the dedication of our KPC Sub-Committee, Coaching staff, First Aid Officers, QRL referees and staff, our hardworking Volunteers, generous Sponsors, and community Partners—especially Fitzroy Sharks—whose contributions made this event possible. Together, we have carried forward the momentum of previous years, building a strong foundation for the future as we look ahead to Mackay’s hosting in 2027.

As emerging elders, our hearts and minds remain on fire for the Kanaka Proud Cup and the vision of unity and culture for our young people and families. Yet we also acknowledge that our numbers are few and our bodies are not as strong as they once were. That is why we need new blood, fresh energy, and innovative ideas to carry this concept forward. Preparation for 2027 begins NOW—if you are interested in being more involved, or know others who would like to contribute, please encourage them to step forward. ASSIUC is committed to supporting and inspiring the next generation to take up this mantle.

THANK YOU
