2025 KPC POLOS_edited.jpg

**OUR 2025 KPCR POLO SHIRTS**

We did not receive any shirt designs for our competition this year. As a result, the KPC Rockhampton Committee has decided to create a polo shirt that honors various causes that have impacted family members, friends, and our community – Mental Health, Breast Cancer and Diabetes.

Our polo shirts are also dedicated to one of our local community members, Gavin Vea Vea. Gavin was the event and jersey presentation photographer for KPC Rocky and an avid supporter of community sports.

We have two of our junior teams from 2023 shown on the back of our polo.

Shirts are $45 (adults) and $40 (children) and are available in mens, ladies and kids sizes.

Mental Health (Green)

Services are funded by the federal, state, and territory governments, as well as the private sector.  Services can be face-to-face, online, or by telephone.

Breast Cancer (Pink)

In 2022, it is estimated that 20,640 new cases of breast cancer were diagnosed in Australia:  20,428 women and 212 men. The risk of an individual being diagnosed with breast cancer by their 85th birthday is estimated at 1 in 8 for women and 1 in 668 for men.

Diabetes (Blue & Grey)

Diabetes is a chronic condition characterised by high blood sugar (glucose) levels. It occurs when the pancreas does not produce enough insulin or when the body cannot effectively use the insulin it produces. There are three main types of diabetes: Type 1, Type 2, and gestational diabetes. Over time, diabetes can lead to serious health complications affecting the heart, blood vessels, eyes, kidneys, and nerves.

There are many services available to gather diabetes information and awareness and consult with your local doctor.
